My name is Luisa Leizeriuc, and first of all, thank you for being here and for your interest in getting to know me. I’m a licensed psychologist offering psychotherapy in English, Spanish, and Romanian.

Just like you, I define myself in many ways, depending on the context and the moment I’m in. Each new role, stage, and experience enriches us, broadening our vision and allowing us to see things from different perspectives.

My Personal Approach to Providing Emotional Support and Psychotherapy

Resources for overcoming self-confidence issues

As a psychologist, I’ve come to see that each person is a unique world, full of strengths and inner resources that often go unnoticed. My therapeutic approach focuses on helping patients identify and develop these inner resources, supporting a process of personal growth and building self-esteem in adults so they can face life’s challenges and achieve their goals.

Therapy for Personal Growth & Development

As a mother, I’ve had the privilege of closely observing how humans grow and evolve. I’ve watched how a person—initially helpless and dependent—learns, idealizes, rebels, and gradually grows stronger. This personal experience has given me a special sensitivity for supporting my patients in their identity development process, understanding that each stage has its own pace and value.

Support for Mental Health Among Immigrants

As an immigrant who has lived in different parts of the world, I have a deep understanding of the difficulties and challenges that can arise when adapting to a new culture and environment. Experiencing migration firsthand taught me that change is not just a challenge—it’s the best opportunity to develop the ability to adjust smoothly to diverse circumstances and to grow through learning and self-discovery.

Therapy is a collaborative process in which we work together to understand and overcome your challenges. We don’t just address symptoms, but their underlying causes – such as life experiences, beliefs, and thought patterns. This helps break unhelpful cycles, encourages healthy decisions, and supports lasting positive change.

Through dialogue and self-reflection, we’ll address challenges related to cultural adjustment, identity, and cross-cultural experiences—helping you move forward with clarity and resilience.
